"After the devasting Tsunami of 2011, my heart started to ache for Japan again. I had to go back, with the fear that Japan would be lost to the world one day, and the anticipation to re-enter the dream again." ~Wynter

Day Four - Akihabara
I loved Akihabara the first time I visited it. This time around, we spent most of our time shopping at Yodobashi-Akiba - a shopping mall with EVERYTHING NERDY! I could have spent way more hours here, but I also wanted to visit a Maid Cafe, which we were able to do!

At this mall I felt a tremor, which I later realized with a small Earthquake. The next day we left for Hakone, and on that day Tokyo suffered a large Earthquake. Can you believe it? We missed it by ONE DAY!

We weren't allowed to take pictures inside of the Maid Cafe, but here are two that I took (all sneaky) of the food I ordered. It was a very cute pancake, but the taste was... meh. I must say, though, that EVERYONE has to experience a Maid Cafe. It's out-of-this-world bizarre!
