"After the devasting Tsunami of 2011, my heart started to ache for Japan again. I had to go back, with the fear that Japan would be lost to the world one day, and the anticipation to re-enter the dream again." ~Wynter

Day Seven - Geisha Show at Gion Corner
We took a taxi to Gion Corner to see a Geisha Show. This was exciting for numerous reasons. First off, this was the first time for me in a taxi in Japan! I've only ever sat in a taxi a handful of times (only once in my own country), so this was an exciting experience. And course, Gion Corner itself! It's a unique theatre that presents shows of seven traditional performing arts of Kyoto: Tea Ceremony, Koto Harp, Flower Arrangement, Gagaku music of the Imperial Court, Kyogen Classical Comedy, Kyomai Dance, Bunraku Puppet Theatre. It was difficult to take pictures due to the positioning of seats in the audience... but I tried.... My two favourite performances were the Kyogen classical comedy and Bunraku puppet show performances.
