Day One/Two - Hotel in Tokyo
Although the trip itinerary was very similar to the one I had made for my first trip to Japan (back in '08), I had a mindset to do a lot more and experience a lot more. Our first stay was in Tokyo, at a Hotel called Pearl Hotel in Ryogoku - the Sumo District!

Breakfast was in a buffet style. Although the staple dishes were there everyday (miso soup, rice, rolls) other foods would be rotated.

I took a picture of this: I think it's a fire hydrant! It's so different in design than the ones we have in Canada.
