"I have always wanted to visit Japan, and for a while this seemed like nothing more than a dream. When I finally landed in the country I felt, for the first time, what it is like to live in a dream." ~Wynter

Day Six - Lake Ashi
I only spent one night at Hakone. The next morning I set out for Lake Ashi, where I took a boat cruise. You can see Mt. Fuji in some of the pictures (near the end). It's the snow-covered peak. ^_^

National Park
The Hot Springs was probably my least favourite location that I visited, but that isn't saying much considering I enjoyed myself here as well! The only negative point was the disgusting stench of sulphor that polluted the air. It smelt like rotten eggs. The highlight were in fact the eggs that were hardboiled in the water from the natural hot springs. The sulphor turns the eggshells black!

Welcome to Kyoto!
We took the bullet train (fastest in the world) to Kytoto. The whole ride took about two hours and we passed some beautiful landscape in that time.
