"I have always wanted to visit Japan, and for a while this seemed like nothing more than a dream. When I finally landed in the country I felt, for the first time, what it is like to live in a dream." ~Wynter
Day One/Two - Flying to Tokyo
When I reached Tokyo, it was already passed the evening mark. Instead of retiring to my hotel room for some much needed rest, I decided to explore the streets around me. Even at night Tokyo has much to offer.
The third picture above is of a vertical parking lot. I've never seen the likes of it before! There's a switch that rotates the cars - like a ferris wheel - and you can drive your car right off the ramp once it reaches the ground. How cool is that?!
Hotel Room - complete with satisfying toilet. ^o^
View from hotel room window. We were right by the train station, which was uber convenient. We were also right beside the Sumo Wrestling Stadium (seen above the station with the trianguler roof). A statue of a sumo wrestler greeted me every time I left the hotel. I became quite fond of the lil' guy.
View of hotel and surrounding streets.
