"China encompasses a vision of its Past, its Present, and its Future. Walking the streets is like walking Time. I wish to be stuck forever." ~Wynter
Day Eight - Children's Palace
One of the greatest highlights for me was visiting the Children's Palace. This is a school students can attend on the weekend (seperate from their regular school) where they can study in the Arts (singing, dancing, painting/drawing, playing music, etc.).
Yu Yuan Garden
Another scenic location. It's hard to imagine that something this serene can exist amidst the choas that is Shanghai. Btw, the lady holding the green flag is Jolene. :D
Lunch and Silk Factory
They have an IKEA in China!!
Bund River
Remember those pics I took on the cruise, of Shanghai at night? Well, that river we were on was the Bund River. Here's what the same scene looks like during the day.
Nanking Road
Nanking Road is a street known for its 1000 shops!
Dinner and Acrobatic Show
Awwwwww this would be our last dinner in China. :(
